Blogmas Day 8: Christmas Events in Vancouver

Hello and welcome back to another day of Blogmas. So I was looking up to buy tickets for the Nutcracker in Vancouver and found a bunch of activities to in December. If you live in Bristish Columbia check out these holiday events this month.

FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS

Festival of Lights at VanDusen Botanical Garden. Experience VanDusen Festival of Lights, a magical winter wonderland with over one million lights decorating VanDusen Botanical Garden open from December 1 to January 2.

CAPILANO SUSPENSION BRIDGE

Get ready to be dazzled by the Canyon Lights display at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park!

WHISTLER

Go skiing at Whistler and enjoy the snow!❄️ or just go to the village and have some hot chocolate.

VANCOUVER CHRISTMAS MARKET

Featuring a variety of vendors selling everything from gingerbread and goulash to countless varieties of gifts and stocking fillers, this event has become an iconic attraction for both locals and visitors. There are also various attractions for the kids, including a scavenger hunt, a carousel, a an opportunity to meet Santa, and much more.

BRIGHT NIGHTS/STANLEY PARK TRAIN RIDE

Combining over 3 million sparkling lights and hundreds of gorgeous Christmas displays, this event is a must for people of all ages.

THE NUTCRACKER

Enjoy the magic of the Nutcracker Ballet at either Queen Elizabeth Theatre or the Royal City Youth at the Massey Theatre. The tickets are way cheaper than the ones at Queen Elizabeth so if your on a budget I would go to the Massey Theatre. I’m going to the show on December 19 and I’m so excited.

These are my topic picks if you want to enjoy in the holiday festivities in Vancouver this year.

Until Tomorrow
